Numbers for the week in class 025: This week, there were 567 freshly registered text trademarks; 278 fully cancelled text marks; and 229 applications were abandoned before reaching the finish line.
Note: The marks in part 1 are now fully registered and active! This list is compiled from the USPTO Trademark Search system. Some of these are legitimate brand names! I’ve included them on this list because those brand names are also words or phrases that may be used on the goods in question by crafters and makers.

PART 3: ABANDONED APPLICATIONS! 🎉
Here are the applications that were abandoned this week in class 025, with mark drawing code 4. The most likely cause was the applicant not submitting corrected, updated, or informative material by the USPTO’s deadline. Ding, dong, these witches are dead! 🪦
Note: out of 229 abandoned applications this week, only 33 were NOT applicants from China. 85% of this week’s abandoned applications had applicants in China; most of them are the classic “keyboard smash” mix of letters that we see a lot from applicants in China, and every single one that I opened up had the same problem: an (apparently made-up) attorney named Jackson George. The USPTO flagged that he “does not appear to be a qualified U.S.-licensed attorney.”
Here’s an article about the ongoing trademark fraud scams, which includes a mention of “Jackson George”. Glad to see some of these getting flushed out of the system!
| 98239299 | LARA TRUMP |
| 90471427 | DO NOT DISTURB |
| 99721458 | SERIAL CHILLERS |
| 90617462 | MAGIC VIBES |
| 90083723 | YOU GO YOU GET |
| 90778963 | MAMA IS MY BOO |
| 90540650 | CORSET OUTLET |
| 90618020 | PLAYBALL |
| 90628211 | SMILE DIARY |
| 97300715 | WHOLE TEAM WINNIN’ |
And of the 33 non-China applications that were abandoned this week, over half were from two different individuals in Canada. They both used the same attorney, Abdul Wahab Akram, who ALSO got flagged as “does not appear to be a qualified U.S.-licensed attorney.” Here are most of them; I don’t think any of these would have made it through anyway, since most of these words and phrases are … not owned by individuals in Canada. 😆 What a waste of money!

[sic] = A spelling, spacing, grammar, or punctuation error is part of the mark, not a typo from my butterfingers.
[removed from spreadsheet] = The cancelled item had been on my spreadsheet of marks, and has now been removed.
